Tutu Care

When you receive your tutu it may be slightly wrinkled due to shipping. Remove from packaging and gently run your fingers from top to bottom to release the fullness of the tutu.
To keep the fullness of your tutu, always have it hanging up when not in use. Laying it flat on a shelf or other surface can cause it to flatten. Pant hangers are perfect for Little Blooms tutu dresses and tutu gowns.

To release wrinkles:
The best way to release wrinkles from your tutu is to use a steamer. If you do not have a steamer, hang your tutu in the bathroom and let the steam from a hot shower do the trick.

To clean your tutu:
Spot clean your tutu by hand. NEVER put your tutu in the washing machine! For a stain, gently rub a small amount of soap onto the stain, and then rinse with cold water and pat dry.
To clean running tutus use a mixture of white vinegar & water (1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) and spray onto the waistband of the tutu. Once dry the vinegar smell will dissipate.

To dry your tutu:
Hang your tutu on a hanger and allow it to air dry. NEVER put your tutu in the dryer!

To rid your tutu of static:
Run your favorite variety of fabric softener sheet gently from top to bottom over your tutu. Not only will it control the static, but it will also leave your tutu smelling fresh!
